Kristin Hambelton is vice president of marketing at Neolane, Inc., a fast-growing global marketing technology provider. She is responsible for Neolane’s market and brand strategy and operations including corporate communications, demand generation, product and partner marketing, and digital marketing including search and social media. Kristin also leads Neolane’s Inside Sales team that is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing opportunities for the Neolane direct sales team.
Kristin launched and continues to lead the company’s overall social media and search marketing efforts and shares her experiences and best practices with Neolane’s customers, which include more than 350 B2C and B2B global enterprises around the world such as barnesandnoble.com , Clarins Group, Club Med, Macmillan Publishing Group, Sephora Europe, Sears Canada, Orange, Sony Music and Sophos.
Kristin is a frequent guest speaker at events and contributor to industry publications. Kristin’s experience spans all facets of global marketing including media and analyst relations, product marketing and management, market strategy and analysis, vertical marketing, channel marketing, competitive intelligence, demand generation, and corporate marketing and branding. Kristin has held multiple global leadership roles and has been responsible for driving leads, building brands, creating desired market awareness, and providing competitive advantage for the high technology products and services companies that she worked for including IDC, Kronos, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Kristin’s sales lead management experience is unique in that she manages the entire front-end of the funnel from inquiry to opportunity. At Neolane, she architected the lead management funnel, defined the key performance indicators and associated benchmarks, and directs the Marketing and Inside Sales teams responsible for driving results. She consistently achieves goals for marketing-generated and marketing-influenced revenue, and is a stickler for simultaneously meeting lead quality and cost-per-lead goals. During her three year tenure at Neolane, she has increased the prospect database by more than 300 percent and driven down cost per lead by nearly 30 percent.
