Nominee's Achievements in the Field of Sales Lead Management:

Kathy Sacks has been a fearless leader in the areas of journalism, PR, and marketing throughout her career, and has made a bold impact in the field of sales lead management in particular. She spent time as the VP of marketing and communications for the AZ Technology Council, which is where she obtained extensive knowledge of the Arizona tech community and the marketing tactics best suited for maximizing sales leads in the field. After this post, Sacks began her own public relations firm, Sacks PR, around the idea of building impeccable brand reputations for her clients. Sacks leveraged the PR influence and media presence she gained for her clients as the driving forces behind increasing their sales leads and credibility in the marketplace. She worked tirelessly to carve a name for her clients, which included Ensynch, Infusionsoft, iLinc, and Terralever.

Sacks has also been intimately interconnected with the magazine industry throughout her career, which has helped her understand just how powerful the media can be as an ally in fueling marketing efforts and sales lead cultivation for businesses. She was the co-owner, editor-in-chief, and brand strategist for bizAZ magazine, one of the leading business magazines in Arizona. After her time in this role, Sacks went on to launch two magazines during her illustrious career, TechConnect magazine, Arizona’s first and only magazine of science and technology, and bizSanDiego Magazine.

After these pursuits, she decided to make the transition into her current role as VP of communications at Infusionsoft. In this position, Sacks leads the communications department and works hand in hand with the marketing team within this rapidly growing company. Sacks develops and executes on the strategies that spread awareness of Infusionsoft, and spearheads all communication initiatives around public affairs, media relations, executive communications, and employee communications that support the powerful brand and mission of Infusionsoft.

Sacks’ communication expertise and leadership is the skeleton behind the unstoppable machine of Infusionsoft, and has positioned the company as the market leader it is today. Infusionsoft recently secured $54 million in a funding round led by Goldman Sachs and has over 10,000 customers. Its success can be largely credited to Sacks’ leadership in market positioning, shaping the Infusionsoft story, and maximization of sales leads.
